Privacy

Last updated 4 July 2026

Pick Our Day is built to need as little of your information as possible. There are no accounts, no passwords, and we never ask for your email. This page explains, in plain English, exactly what the app stores and why.

The short version

What a plan stores

To make the shared calendar work, a plan holds only what people type into it:

That's it. We don't collect real names, contact details, or location. A name is whatever a person chooses to type — it can be a nickname.

Your plan link is the key

Every plan gets its own address made from a long, randomly generated code — it can't be guessed or discovered by browsing, and plans are not listed anywhere. In practice, only people you send the link to can find the plan.

Because there are no accounts, there's also no password on a plan: anyone who has the link can view and edit it. That's what makes joining friction-free — but it means you should share the link only with the people you're planning with.

How long we keep it

Plans are meant to be temporary. A plan automatically deletes itself 90 days after its last change, since by then the event is over and nobody comes back to it. There's no account to close and nothing you need to clean up.

Analytics

We keep a small, anonymous count of activity — things like "a page was viewed", "a plan was opened", or "a date was tapped" — so we can understand how the app is used and improve it. Each browser gets a random id stored on your device so we can tell "50 visits" from "50 people"; it contains nothing about who you are, and these counts are never tied to your identity.

We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first tool from Cloudflare, Inc. that measures page traffic without using cookies or fingerprinting visitors. Cloudflare processes this traffic data on our behalf; you can read how in Cloudflare's privacy policy. We do not use advertising trackers and we do not sell data to anyone.

Feedback

If you tap the thumbs-up/down feedback prompt, we store your rating and any optional note so we can make the app better. It's stored without anything that identifies you.

What's stored in your browser

The app saves a few small preferences in your browser's local storage — your language choice and which name you picked in a plan — so the app remembers them next time. These stay on your device and aren't used to track you.

Children

Pick Our Day is a general-audience scheduling tool and isn't directed at children under 13.

Deleting a plan sooner

Plans delete themselves after 90 days of inactivity, but you can effectively clear one at any time: anyone with the link can remove names, marked days, plan text, and comments directly in the plan. If you want a plan deleted entirely right away, email hello@pickourday.com and include the plan link.

Questions

Have a privacy question, a data request, or want a plan removed sooner? Email hello@pickourday.com and we'll help. You can also use the Send feedback link inside any plan.
